Most RV furnace problems come down to one of a small number of causes: a blocked or dirty orifice, a weak 12-volt supply to the blower and ignition, a stuck thermostat, or air trapped in the LP gas line after the unit sat unused. A no-start diagnosis works through these in order.
We also see units that ignite and then drop out, units that cycle without ever producing heat, and units with a gasket or heat chamber worn enough to need replacement. Each of those is a different repair, not a single fix.
A furnace with a cracked or corroded heat exchanger can introduce combustion byproducts, including carbon monoxide, into the cabin air. That is why the heat chamber and electrode are inspected on every visit, not just the parts that affect whether the unit lights.
Las Vegas winters are mild, but overnight desert temperatures still drop well below cabin comfort, and a furnace that has sat idle through a hot summer is a common point of failure right when it is needed. Annual service before the first cold trip catches that early.

A technician runs the full operations and temperature test first, so any repair is scoped against what the unit actually does, not just what it looks like from outside. From there the pilot, burner, orifice, electrode and heat chamber are cleaned and inspected, and the LPG line is leak tested.
If a gasket has worn through, it is replaced as part of the same visit. The unit is cycled off and on to confirm the fix holds before you leave, and checked against any open manufacturer recall.
A furnace fault is often part of a wider gas or electrical picture.
